The major activities of ANMC21 Women’s Participation in Society are to establish the network of gender resource centers and to hold the annual Asian Metropolitan City Women's Representative Seminar.

	Establishment of the network of gender resource centers
	1) Establish the function of the measures and the services on women through a single window in each city(Each city aims to establish a gender resource center or designate an existing facility as a gender resource center, according to each city's situation.) 2) Promote the exchange of information via internet between each city's gender resource center or section dealing with women's policy 3) Promote cooperation among NGOs, volunteers and consultants
	Annual Asian Metropolitan City Women's Representative Seminar
	1) The seminar will be held over about 3 days annually by the willing city in turn. 2) Topics of the seminar may include the following issues:   - Institutional protection of women's rights and interests in the workforce - Information exchange among CEOs to promote women's economic participation - Information exchange among women entrepreneurs of the participating cities - Exchange of best programs and policies among the participating cities etc.
